​​The aim of this project was to give space to the grief caused by the loss of a person, on the one hand, the social space and on the other hand the physical space. 

The space in the social environment can be achieved by establishing the themes of death, grief, and loss in public life. These have to be discussed more openly in culture and politics, to achieve a cognition and rethinking, which could lead to higher sensitivity and humanity in society as a whole. The physical space in the form of a closed building as a shelter in which grief can be felt and communicated is an important step in order to dissolve existing taboos and  enabling space for grief and loss, as they are part of the human life.
