Rural scenes Malacatos 01: Different Material Wall.

In the center of Malacatos, I discovered this abandoned building, which seems to have been used to produce Panela (whole cane sugar). The original walls are rammed earth walls (in Spanish Tapia), in parts on a base of river stones, as can be observed in the second picture. Later wall openings were closed up with a mudbrick (in Spanish Adobe) and in some parts with conventional bricks.

The roof is composed of a bamboo structure and traditional roof tiles (in Spanish Teja).

Picture 03. An ovenbird landed on the Adobe wall while I was taking some pictures (In Spanish "Chilalo" or "Hornero del pacífico")

Picture 04. Interestingly these birds build their nests of clayey mud mud
